Wow! How did this happen? Another one of those annual events that I am surprised to see another. But it came and went like so many others. Where did the time go? I am suppose to be wiser. I have the grey hair to prove it!What have I learned? What do I know? I finally figured out what the phrase "it-is-what-it is" means and my favorite saying is "this-too-shall-pass".
I had a great birthday celebration thanks to my home girls from work and my children. [close your eyes everyone] I walked around naked with only my new pearls. What a rush! So, I am a cheap date. I have wanted cultured pearls since I can remember. I am not into jewelry and stuff like that (well, I use to not be) but pearls were to much for my artistic back-to-nature self. The thought of a piece of sand sprinkled into an unsuspecting oyster is one of God's awesome creations. But then again, are we not all a wonderfully made and an awesome creation of Almighty God...even when you feel old.
